Modric Breaks A Leg

Huge blow for Tottenham - it's been confirmed Luka Modric has sustained a fracture to his right fibular & is out for at least 2 months. I'm gutted.

Modric has started the season in great form and is one of the biggest factors in Spurs' great start. It'll be interesting to see what Redknapp now does...will he recall O'Hara from his Portsmouth loan? Could David Bentley or Giovanni Dos Santos be given a chance, or will Robbie Keane play the Modric role coming in from the left to allow Crouch to partner Defoe as happened yesterday? We have 2 weeks to wait and see before Spurs host Manchester United on 12th September.

What a game that could be...

Gio Dos Santos is all flash. He dribbles with his head down and is not physical enough for the EPL. IMO. Huge blow for Spurs. Can Naughton or Bale take his spot? That would have nice fantasy implications.

This pisses me off. Modric was in rare form, the announcer on the FSC coverage was saying he was the best creative mid-fielder in the EPL just before he went down.

What angers me is that its down to Lee Bowyer who made the lunging tackle that caused the injury. Bowyer and Paul Scholes are the two most thuggish players in the game. Someone should take Bowyer out hard

Is Defoe really injured?
And on another topic, should I keep Bent after the last few weeks (in which I had him, and may he go to hell)?

Maybe Bentley will finally play, spurs paid so much for him to warm the bench, but I dont think anyone would pick him up as hes price (along with arteta, bullard, etc) never, ever goes down not if even to the price of inactive players.
