The 600 teams come from the 6 Blog Leagues. We actually have 3 spaces left in Blog League 6, so be quick to join up if you haven't already

As with The Blog Cup, at points throughout the season we will have weekends where the Top Weekly Scores go through to the "next round". It's a knockout so once you're out, you're out!
All 600 teams in the Blog Leagues have a place in the AM Challenge Cup...unfortunately I can't run more than 6 leagues so if you don't get a space then you're going to miss out - sorry.
I've outlined the The AM Challenge Cup schedule below:-
1st Round - Week 14 - Top 400 teams based on weekly scores in the Blog Leagues go through to 2nd round
2nd Round - Week 18 - Top 250 teams based on weekly scores from the remaining 400 teams go through to 3rd round
3rd Round - Week 22 - Top 125 teams based on weekly scores from the remaining 250 teams go through to 4th round
4th Round - Week 26 - Top 60 weekly scores from the remaining 125 teams go through to semi finals
Semi Finals - Week 30 - Top 20 teams based on weekly scores from the remaining 60 teams go through to the final
Final - Week 33 - Team with top weekly score teams from the remaining 20 teams is crowned the winner!
Prize - At the moment there is no prize other than the pride of winning the competition, but if we get some more donations over the next 6 months then there may be enough money to supply a replica premier league shirt to the winner.
As people will probably change their team name throughout the season I'll be tracking teams by their Yahoo IDs.
In the event of any of the above weeks/rounds being an international break week (ZERO Premiership games) then the round will be moved to the following weekend.
It is always the Top 400 teams who go through, with one exception. In the event of teams being tied on weekly points at the cut off (e.g. Round 1- if the 400th, 401st & 402nd teams are all tied on the same weekly total) then all 3 teams would go through to the next round.
I'm looking forward to it. As with The Blog Cup, I think it makes things interesting as it's nothing to do with Overall Position, it's purely based on your weekly score in the selected week, so it gives players not doing too well the chance to have 1 off weekends where they score big whilst a top player has a bad week...fantasy giant killing!
I hope people think it's a good idea... I'll make it clear on the lead up to each round whether it's a Cup Weekend.
Round 1 of the AM Challenge is THIS WEEKEND!!! The teams with the top 400 weekly scores in the blog leagues will go through to Round 2. Everyone else will be knocked out. REMEMBER - this is just a bit of fun, so never sacrifice your long term strategy for Cup weeks!
I really recommend you join my Facebook Group if you're one of the 600 teams. I may well be using Facebook to communicate with managers regarding the AM Challenge, with fixture reminders (which week each round falls on), notifications of results etc.
Please let me have your feedback or any question you may have. Feeling confident? Surely nobody could do the Blog Cup/AM Challenge Cup double!? :)

92,00 points, 142nd overall, fall from 100th...
with 1.456,50 lying 2ndg in YFF3 Blog league, 30 points from TOP 50, 80 points from TOP 10 - my first and second goals
I had two very wrong calls(Adebayor and Ethringhton), two unlucky calls(Dunn and C Cole) and two great calls(Duff and Roddalega), with Kirkland,Hangeland,Bridge,W Brown and Dempsey, that is 92 points...
Bad thing was that Rooney and Drogba got 60 points between them. I would pick them if i picks again but I had to go for Tevez and Jarvis or Larsson for my bad places... K2 just sits there while Tavez has 6 corners won only with his work rate...Lawrence stole Etheringhton's kikcs and game vs Blackburn was really bad matchup...
I've BD Drodbga,Rooney,Caragher,Hreidarsson and KPB... Man Utd and Chelsea have great double week coming so I had no choice... Drogba fucked me more then Rooney because especialy with his second goal... If he scored just 14 points i wouldn't BD him for City game...
Week 14 is just bridge to make team for double week 15 with 6 or 7 teams playing 2 home games with great matchups... 200 points could be mediocre... Drogba has 4 YC so that is anothor trap for YFF players...
My week 14 team for now is:
Kirland - Hangeland,Hreidarson,Carragher - Duff,Dempsey,KPB, 7M- Drogba,Rooney and Hugo Roddalega... I dont really like it but i must think for next week...

All I know is ManCity is dead to me. Tevez managed a credible 14.5 points, but figuring which player, if any, is actually going to show up for work in a given match is well-nigh impossible. Adebayor's work ethic seems to be infecting the whole team.
When is the Chelsea ManU double gameweek?

Arsenal needs to buy an attackar yes. But why would the buy a 16 year old? They need to get a player who is ready to take a starting position now. Kalou would be a good signing but not the type of player they need. They need a strong center forward who plays in the box and tucks the goal in and who also can head the ball. Babtista could had been the one but he wasnt good enough never settled in England and they played him in midfield. Adebayor was kind of that player, when he was in the right mood. Which in his last season at arsenal wasnt very often. Chamakh can be that player but I havent seen enough of him to judge, he's got the height at least, 6'2. Bendtner can be that player too but I just dont think he's good enough either..
At last my idea of a signing for Arsenal would be : Edin Dzeko of Wolfsburg. I know many of the big clubs are after him and I reckon Arsenal should be one of them.

i saw in gossip that they ofered 7M € for that 16-years old boy... they have to buy Adriano(and fuck whole team up) or Fred(ex-Lyon) or Trezeguet(if i am Wenger i would buy him)...
my choice for an arsenal striker is for pazzini from sampadoria, luis fabiano from sevilla or dzeko from wolfsburg.
Alexandre Pato baby!!! that's who they need...his partnership with Van Persie would be incredible when he's back and fit.
What about Ruud Van Nistelrooy?
Ruud would be a good choice but I think Liverpool are also tracking him, so are Spurs.
Damn stubborn Wenger needs Mathieu Bodmer (Lyon), Treze and Huntelaar. Italian players (w/exception of Zola/Vialli) can't cope w/PL.
I think Luis Suarez (Ajax) would be brilliabt. Van Nistelrooy would do well too.
