Week 9 - Player Picks

Click here for my Week 9 Player Picks over on NMA

Guys; I know many AM Blog readers are still avoiding Never Manage Alone and that's not unexpected - less than 250 people have joined the new site as "members" (which is needed to enable you to post comments) so the "reply count" to posts remains far lower than we've had here since 2009.

Lots of feedback has been posted in the chat room around the fact that you're not keen on NMA because it's too cluttered etc and I don't blame you. Personally I think the site looks far more professional; I accept the transition will take a while but the fact of the matter is it's a better platform for us, it has more features to allow readers to get involved, with the biggest benefit being the "Fan Post"/"Fan Shot" facility, which allows YOU to start your own topics for more direct interaction with a community we're all a part of.

I will never forget the support and effort you all put in to help me create what we had here, but I hope this week will see more of you move across and help us build something just as special at NMA on SB Nation. Nobody likes change, but if you don't try to improve & progress, then you're standing still. I'm looking to the future now, and I hope you will too.

I, for one, hesitated to head there was it was too confusing. But having spent a good week there, there are really a lot of stuff to read, I mean a lot. You've got Nik doing his usual analysis there, and Neal and Jeremy with their own, which gives different perspectives into your weekly possible choice of team.

Also, there are different interesting analysis, not directly related to the weekly picks, but certainly something to discuss about EPL and the teams etc. Not to forget, we've got some of ours, and some of others, posting weekly statistics, which you'd probably find helpful for you weekly picks, if not directly useful. Interesting readings for sure! :)

Quick pointers just in case you don't want to be looking around, if you want to read up what Nik, Jeremy and Neal posts, just click on "Home". "FanPosts" is where you can read the "statistics" and other directly-related information. "FanShots" is sort of football-related, but not so. So you'd find FanPosts are active than FanShots. Just my 2 cents. :)

Thanks for the clarification Nick... like you said, there's a lot of information there, which to be honest, feels a bit like information overload. i appreciate your analysis and will see to keep you as my Assistant Manager...

Hey, that's great post you've shared. Thanks for sharing this.
This unceremonious exit of Virat Kohli from the ODI Captaincy left all the cricket stunned. Firstly, the decision is itself quite shocking, over the decision; nothing was done with the procedure.
