Week 31 - My Team

Almunia

Kolarov   Smalling   Luiz

O'Hara   Hitzlsperger   Dempsey   Giggs

Suarez   Tevez   Van Persie

Wow, I was very lucky I visited Twitter & the chatroom at 11:57am to see that Nani was on the bench, so I quickly switched him for Tevez (dropping Defoe) & brought in Giggs. That was the best I could do in the 100 seconds I had before the deadline - hopefully it pays off.

I'm off on my mates stag-do now so won't be around for the rest of the weekend. Good luck to all!

Cheers,
AM

    luiz, smalling, ridgewell
van der vaart, lampard, adam, hitzlsperger
    suarez, ba, van persie

i am hoping that doubling up on birm. defenders works and hitz and ba hosting united i am looking for some points there. united do not keep clean sheets away from home. also need van der vaart to start scoring like van persie. lampard seems to be not a popular pick so am hoping he makes up for last week.

  28. Nik,

I did exactly the same. Some guys where counting down, and I made the switch Nani - Rooney! Was having serious doubt between Tevez and Rooney. As for now it appears I made the right choice, but you never know what Tevez is going to do...all hail to your chat room!!

  29. Bent - 0 last week and this week two goals, just confirms that he's dead to me.
Brunt (and Mulumbu) - in my team till wednesday then switched to VdV and luiz.

Still 90 points with Gyan, Bardsley and Puncheon to go and up 500 places. If they all return their value it'll be the best week in a while.

Finally, watching the Birmingham highlights and Foster is absolutely amazing. Can't believe Fergie let him go.

    Nani VdV Young Dempsey
    VanPersie Ameobi Balotelli

86 points, not so good and not so bad. All week i wanted to drop Dempsey for Zamora but couldn't drop Ameobi or Balotelli, the players i wanted most this week.

  45. 103 points for me for week 31. Not a good week basically. Thanks to Rooney, Almunia, Koscielny, Smalling and Suarez..the others were Luiz, Heitinga, Dempsey, O'Hara and Beckford.

Brought in Downing for Dempsey and Sturridge for Beckford. The others may stay for week 32..

  46. 72.5 Points....
My (luck) at picking goal keepers continues with Carson getting 13. The bad part is I believe I am "stuck" with him unless I decide to drop some nicely acquired players.

My down fall seemed to be Hitzandmissperger with this weeks miss of 1 point.
Acquired Rooney on the door but reluctantly let him go to keep Lampard...want him for the double plus next week looks inviting.

Zigic...well, not so good this week but I did have little to work with.

Question for AM if you are still reading this thread.

Do Fulham & Tottenham have a week (off) in the coming weeks? I seem to be a little confused in the area of doubles and team breaks over the next few weeks. Maybe you could address it in this weeks updates?? Sorry if this has been done but it remains unclear to me.

    Looking forward this weeks post!

    Thanks.

  47. I don't like picking Chelsea players but i'm thinking of dropping Nani at 13 for Lampard. Will prolly wait till after the cl games.

    Ken,

For keeping up on teams with no game/double game weeks, I find Fantasy Football Scout's "Next Six Ticker" very helpful. It can be found about midway down the right side of their main page.
