Trying to figure out where to go on the barndoor. I'd like to make sure I snab Dzeko, Suarez or Bridge before they start jumping in price. The two forwards in particular (assuming Suarez is in the 7-8 range) would give me a strong pairing up top at very cheap prices.

On Tevez: Birminghmam at home can play exceptionally tight, so Tevez was not an automatic selection at 18+ cost.

ReplyDelete@Nelson, thanks but it's always high-risk high-reward going all in like that on 3 or 4 high priced F's & MF's (thankfully I managed to keep VDV @ 5.51 all season). Last double week though I had Carson GK (0) and my 3 defenders were -7 including Caldwell's red card, Bale's injury and Rio's groin injury out of nowhere, ugh. Finally dropped Bale this week, RVP's 12.5 wasn't massive by any means but he's been in great form and it beats a zero for the next few weeks I guess... plus if he's moving back to LB anyway the 13.5 or so I held him at was probably too much for a Tottenham defender.

I bet almost as many have combo B as combo A. If you hit A well done, and we will hear from you on the blog I'm sure!! Those unlucky B people, never mind, the luck will swing your way some time!
I had a bad week so far (42.5) but only went down 7 places to 452 and expected worse...but since I only have 6 to go I need some goals etc tonight!!
