Probably the least pleased I've been with my final team all season, but we'll see how things pan out. Maybe I should've downgraded Nani to Meireles so Anderson could've been improved, but I was too hungover to think this morning.

I wrestled most with Nani or Rooney. I know both diod not play that much, but I am scared both will get rested in one of the twomatches. I believe Nani is most likely to be, though that is only a gut feeling. I chose Rooney, as I think he will destroy Brum and Nani will have a hoorid time in a five-man midfield. We'll see...

Well, I;m trying to make up a little ground in my private league, so I went with a couple of slightly different DGers - Rodallega up front and Downing in the MF. Didn't seem that too many people were going with them. And I am hoping Bent fires right away for Villa...

5 DGs, chickened out on dropping a discounted Bardsley at the last minute and decided on davies rather than DGs like Anderson because he seems to be scoring well and Bolton only have chelski at home

i chickened out that andrew johnson was not going to start and brought in dembele who is not in any form since he is just coming back.
for the barndoor, all arsenal players are good so i am bringing in koscielny. gyan and dzeko are in as well. i will decide later if i want to drop dempsey as he has a good matchup. bentley will also have to be picked up.
Anyone know if Foul Committed includes handballs?
ReplyDeleteI wanted to keep RvP. I didn't. I wanted to pick van der Sar, as I know he is capable for a 30+. I didn't. I wanted to avoid Reina, as I don't trust 'im any more. I didn't. But I'm pretty happy with my team, which is something unusual in a double week. Let's see if I can make it to the top 200 this week

I'm with AM...hard to be pleased with this weeks team. Must have put together a dozen different combination's the past couple of days, and this is what I came up with:

Last week ended up far better than expected, and hopefully this will add to it. Tried to get some ManU studs in, but just wasn't pleased w/ getting them in and sacrificing other parts of the team with less than quality players. We'll see how it all comes out in the end...

Holding VDV @6mil for 3 weeks of 0's is one thing, holding Bale @12.87mil for 0's is a whole other deal.

ReplyDeletejust watched the premership here in ireland.injury news is rio is out for 2 weeks with groin strain.bale went off with a back spasm after 10 mins which he has been suffering with for a few weeks and is going to hospital on monday for a scan on it and may need an operation.walker got injured in training yesterday .slight strain but doubtfull for midweek game.this info came from the managers interviews after the games

ReplyDeleteI maybe wrong, but you won't have dropped 200 places, with the midday game the scores update, putting you up or down, then with the 3pm games the scores come out and you move places, you will have jumped significantly at this point, but then Villa v City comes in and that's what will have moved you down, people with Bent or other Villa high scorers will have jumped you, so to speak.
