  4. Nik, sorry to hear about your Uncle, I hope you're holding up alright.

I like your team, although I couldn't go for Drogba, he's not returning his price enough for me. Also thought Brunt was too much of a risk with holding VDV, although I did get him on the BD. I went for MGP & Malouda over Meireles or Drogba.

  8. i hope you make it through this tough time.

    i have ben foster
    kolarov phil jones bardsley
nasri van der vaart nani barton
    chamakh elmander welbeck

i sold adam on the last barndoor for brunt, but i really want barton's consistency in my team. i am taking 2 zeros this week and am fine with that. nani's price actually went up, so those that sold him will be paying alot to pick him up. welbeck is my least favorite choice as it is hard to score in 4 straight games. i sold gyan for welbeck. obinna was probably a better pick.
chamakh, nasri will be gone on the barndoor.

  9. My condolences Nik.

    I picked
    robo
    kolorov kosc bale
    nasi lennon meireles vdv
    cham kalou defoe

shuffled my team 30 mins before deadline. dropped ballotelli as felt more comfortable with defoe.
that meant going down price wise to meireles but i like his match up.
hope lennon is my performer that no one else has.
bale at full imo no different than drogs at full.
going to keep vdv this week but if this injury stretches out too long he goes.
hopefully kalou covers a good chelsea performance.

  11. So sorry Nik. Our thoughts and support are with you and your family.

Our teams are very similar except I have MGP and Dorrans for your VDV and Brunt. I could not afford the Drog (but think he is going to put a big one in soon)so went with Malouda.

Good luck all in the Blog Cup (leave the adding up Nik til the end of the week, eh?)

    Best wishes

I dropped Brunt for MGP, which was probably a huge mistake. The last time Brunt was supposed to be out injured (i.e., last week), he scored 20.5. Hopefully VdV won't be out long. His discount is the only one I have left. Getting a proper team together is only going to get tougher.

  44. Condolences Nik.

86 points with Meireles, Kyrgiakos, Barton and torres to go.

    Robbo
    Bale K-rov Kyrgiakos
    Barton Meireles MGP Rosicky
    K.Jones Torres Balotelli

    ReplyDelete
  45. WHY DIDN'T I PICK ROBINSON?!?!

At least Foster got me 8 without a clean sheet! He stays for next week!

83.5 points with a possible Brunt to go. Guess I shoulda gone with my gut and not picked anyone from the leakiest of arsenal defences ever!

    Foster (8)
    A.Hole-arov(6), Koscielny(2.5), Squillaci(5.5)
VDV(0-keeping him no matter what!), Nasri(21.5), Brunt(?), Essien(3.5)
    Balotelli(14), Tevez(17.5), Chamakh(disappointing 5)

But at least ARSENAL are top of the table! Whoop!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Robinson at home to a wolves side that like to put feeble SOT was a no brainer. I believe also that the keeper for next week is Forster, though i'm sticking with Robinson.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Also Tevez and Kolarov are suspended for next game, it could be Balotelli and Jo starting for Man City against West ham.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Very sorry to hear your news.

    Well done for picking Nasri.

Take care and thanks for your input each week.

  50. 88.5 points with Barton, Meireles and Bent to come.

Will be good to break 100 points for the first time is about 6 weeks

    ReplyDelete
  51. First, condolences dude.

Now, disappointed with Chamwow's scoring this week. only 5pts. I kept VdV and Adam and still got 95+ points with Carroll to play tomorrow. Kolarov another disappointment. Got a silly yellow and will miss next match. Might have too hold on to him because I have a huge discount with him as well.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh yeah, went with P. Jones of blackburn in defense this week and got repaid quite well. Thinking of replacing Chamwow with K Davis of Bolton for next week because I don't see Chamwow being "wow" against man u.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Davies 5 yellows, will miss next match

    ReplyDelete
  54. 92 points with barton, brunt and meireles left to play.

    bengoh91

  55. 112 points with meireless and brunt to go.
    Thanks NIK !!

  56. Robinson
    Kolarov Boateng Koscielny Bale
    Nasri Nani VDV Pedersen
    Balotelli Chamakh

109 points thanks to Robinson, Bale, Nasri, Pedersen and Balotelli, despite zeros from Boateng, Nani and VDV. Now Kolarov is out as well next week :/, and what is Boateng's reason for being out? He seems to just go MIA for the past few weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  57. How many match will Kolarov miss? I'm thinking of keeping him, he has been scoring 10+ for the past few weeks and even a 6 when he got a red!

    ReplyDelete
  58. i presume its just 1 game for kolarov, it wasn't a straight red.

    ReplyDelete
  59. My condolences to you and your family. =(

    Cheers,
    Dark Zero

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm holding on very tight to Kolarov, returned his value even with 2 yellow cards.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Last week the WornOuts waltzed in 7 GOALS-- 5 to Berb ,1 to Nani and 1 to Nasri for a total of 105.5 points. This week Nasri hit 2 beauts and Drog belted in a penalty ...and thank you very much Robbo-- this week you made up for Howard's cockups last week....total = 3 GOALS for 109.5 points !!! 3 goals beats 7 by 4 points. It's not right really...goals don't count enough. Another useless piece of info.... I am 115th out of 28,002 Liverpool fans,if anybody gives a care. Couldn't have done it without your help lad.
The bloody weather in England made me sell all my heavily discounted UTD players and pay full price for the heart of my team so my future line-ups are at current prices. Take heart from this me buccos in EPL Madness.
    Sorry for your family loss.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Cap maybe you shouldn't have sold all your discounted players, 4 zeros and still managed 104 pts. It takes
about 6 players doing well to score big.

So much options for week17, weather permitting.

Nasri or Cahill? I like to set my team early to avoid confusing meself.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't know how useful it is but i also check SoccerPunter.com for past results, it's why i didn't pick Chelsea players against Everton(low scoring game).

    ReplyDelete
  64. Where the hell is Barton?? I thought he's back from suspension.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Sorry for your loss Nik.

103.5 with Meireles, Skrtel and Welbeck still to play

Only left is K.Richardson and meireles..
