Cheers,
AM

I encourage a bunch of our regulars to join that pick a score game. It would be fun to see who does well in either game.
ReplyDeleteI joined - last year I had a go at this for the last part of the season and although I didn't do all that well it did help me with the Yahoo game because I had to think about what scores were most likely and could pick players accordingly. So I'd recommend playing it.
ReplyDeleteI know it's what we all do anyway but somehow having to put it down in writing made me think harder!
I'll have a crack at that one i think.
ReplyDeleteSome new players have been added, and the values of most players have changed very slightly.
ReplyDeleteStill missing Guedioura of Wolves though, disappointing as i was planning on picking him.
Kolarov is in. Between him and Boateng....who is the better bet? Well, at least for week one, before the barndoor...
ReplyDeleteMunsoned
Lucky, just joined prediction league
ReplyDeleteSingapore Lions
@ Munsoned - Kolarov all the way. Will take some shooting free kicks and get attacking points.
ReplyDeleteWenger has already decided that Fábregas and Van Persie will play no part in the final pre-season friendly of the summer against Legia Warsaw tomorrow, meaning they are likely only to be substitutes at Anfield on Aug 15.

ReplyDeleteMaxer
Hi Maxer - I'm afraid I don't really have time to check every new player added, but the Fantasist wrote an article about newly added players, maybe that will help?

Hi AM - After playing all year on your site during last season, I've had complete memory failure lol:)
ReplyDeleteWhat are the steps needed to join your blog league? Where do I put the password and id?
Thanks for your continued help.
@GTR34 Look for the "Join a Group" link right under your "My Groups" section.
ReplyDeleteHavent seen Boateng or Silva appear yet in pre season friendlies? They may play on Sat v Valencia?

ReplyDeleteanother new change i've noticed...Dirk Kuyt is listed as a midfielder this year...interesting..
ReplyDeleteMunsoned
The prediction league filled out pretty quickly (as expected). Any thoughts on increasing the size of the league from 50?
ReplyDeleteFYI Kolarov looked good today in the friendly vs. Valencia. Banged in 2 SOTs according to match reports, and was on shooting free-kick duty it seemed. Played 75 minutes. Didn't hear much about Silva though...
ReplyDeleteChamakh on target in a ridiculous 6-5 win over Legia Warsaw, as was Nasri (plus an assist). Apparently Fabianski was a joke again.
