Blog League Winners!!!

On reading FantasyEPL earlier today, namely the Winner's Circle post, I realised I forgot to reveal the winners of the 6 AM Blog Leagues, so here goes...

Blog League 1 was won by: TuHaU FC [AM.Blog] with 4227 points
Kop Kings (BB) in 2nd place.

Blog League 2 was won by: Steve Bob FC *** with 4181.5 points
INDIA © [AM.Blog] in 2nd place.

Blog League 3 was won by: Unintended XI with 4152 points
Mourinho 136 HLGWL(AM Blog) in 2nd place.

Blog League 4 was won by: Sven's Super Squad with 4158.5 points
Womchester United in 2nd place.

Blog League 5 was won by: Kop Legends [S11] with 4109.5 points
[VN]siR tHanGtrO in 2nd place.

Blog League 6 was won by:  李 華月x彭丹 with 4229.5 points
SuperRedsRule in 2nd place.

Congratulations to all the winners, especially '李 華月x彭丹' & TuHaU FC [AM.Blog] who finished in the Top 10 on the overall leaderboard, & not forgetting our regulars Andy, Hans, Bojan & Alex, who finished Top 50!!!

I must say, I'm loving the [AM.Blog] tag people have been adding to their team names, thanks very much guys...it's something I might promote next season to see if we can give [hkbff.net] a run for their money on the leaderboard! :)

Cheers,
AM

p.s. I expect us to be following http://fantasyfootball.metro.co.uk as our Blog World Cup game, once I check it out on launch tomorrow.

It was meant to read Andy, Hans & Alex (I said Steve as I was confused by SteveBob FC) but admittedly I missed out Bojan - sorry mate, it's corrected now!

p.s. Tekno - stop trying to add me as "your brother" on Facebook

;)

Are Yahoo not doing a World Cup Fantasy Game??????
Their European one 2 years ago was pretty good.

Hi Ian - I thought the Yahoo Euro 2008 game was terrible; quite early I realised you could buy player BETWEEN games in each of the 3 rounds of group games, meaning you could pick up extra points by pure cheating (like buying players on the barndoor AND getting the points for them as well as the discount), plus the points weren't updated properly at all & the sub system failed completely - I ran a private league with 20 people & by week 2 we'd all given up. I therefore have my reservations, but if they throw something together very similar to the Prem game then we'll definitely go with that instead!

Cheers,
AM

Oh yeah, my 'pretty good' thoughts were probably influenced by me winning £100 for winning my private league.

Now we have WC fantasy football to keep ourselves occupied.

The Metro Game is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland.

Never knew that calling someone brother is offensive !

i think many blog followers and potenial world cup fantasy players are world wide, including me, so it certainly should be game for everyone.
:D

Well that counts out the Metro game then - I'll find an alternative, thanks for the heads up.

p.s. clearly you know I don't find it offensive C****khoor, so stop it :)

METRO looks good for me, whats are the alternatives ?

Hi AM

I too think it's preferable to play a world-wide game, especially as I'm counted out with the Metro game as well ;-)

I live in Kosova and I have no problem to log in or create team...!!!

Don't fill the "Residence" space, leave it empty (since it is not compulsory). It may help...!!!

Cheers...!!!

You can get in backdoors. Register for Daily Mail for example, validate your account and sign in on Metro Fantasy Football. Best regards. Hinrik from Iceland.

@ AM & others - Check this site for Fantasy WC...!!! Looks quite good and with a nice complex scoring system. And yes, there is a lousy (but some seem to like it) rule about substitutions during the gameweek...!!!
Imo, its best one...till now...!!!

@Fidan,
That's the 'official' FIFA FF game;
on first glance not sure about the 23 man squad and sub rules.
Time is ticking...
